Група ядерного планування (NPG), старший орган НАТО з питань ядерного стримування, зібралася на регулярне засідання на рівні міністрів 18 червня 2026 року. Міністри NPG нагадали, що стратегічні ядерні сили Альянсу залишаються головною гарантією безпеки союзників і покладені в основу розширеної архітектури стримування НАТО. Міністри NPG домовились продовжувати посилювати місію НАТО з ядерного стримування завдяки модернізації ядерних спроможностей НАТО, посиленню її здатності до ядерного планування і адаптації задля забезпечення своїх інтересів безпеки. Альянс підтримує безпечні, захищені, дієві і надійні ядерні сили заради збереження миру, запобігання примусу і стримування агресії. Союзники – члени NPG підтвердили свою непохитну відданість спільній відповідальності, ризикам і тягарям колективної оборони, інвестуючи в ресурси, спроможності і сили, необхідні для виконання ядерної місії НАТО і демонстрації єдності і рішучості Альянсу.
