Industry conference brings business leaders together to learn about NATO funding opportunities
The NATO Communications and Information (NCI) Agency is hosting its annual industry conference NITEC19 on 20-22 May 2019 in Oslo, Norway. Companies from all NATO Allies are encouraged to attend to find out how they can do business with NATO.
The NCI Agency, NATO’s technology and cyber leader, plays an important role in acquiring, deploying and defending communications systems for NATO's political headquarters and military commands. “We work with some of the leaders in the tech sector on both sides of the Atlantic. We are keen to expand this cooperation to more companies, including small and medium enterprises, from all NATO Allies. The NCI Agency is open for business, and NITEC19 is an important business and networking opportunity,” said Kevin Scheid, General Manager of the Agency.
This year’s conference, “NATO and the High North: Technology Ultramarathon” will focus on technological solutions and business practices to strengthen NATO operations from the South to the High North. This conference is an opportunity for tech companies to learn how they can be part of NATO’s activities in the High North.
They can also engage with keynote speakers on a wide range of topics: from big data and artificial intelligence, through machine learning to the maritime domain. Through NITEC19, businesses can also meet senior NCI Agency representatives and get a first look at upcoming business opportunities.
