Генеральный секретарь встречается с премьер-министром Молдовы и подтверждает многолетнее партнерство

В четверг (26 октября 2023 г.) Генеральный секретарь НАТО Йенс Столтенберг приветствовал в штаб-квартире НАТО премьер-министра Молдовы Дорина Речана. Он высоко оценил 30-летнее партнерство между НАТО и Молдовой и призвал Россию вывести свои войска с территории Молдовы.
«Москва продолжает оказывать давление на Молдову», - заявил Генеральный секретарь НАТО. «Используя, в том числе, энергетический шантаж и дезинформацию с целью дестабилизировать ваше общество и подорвать вашу демократию».
На встрече в верхах в Вильнюсе государства-члены договорились продолжить активизировать многолетнее практическое и политическое сотрудничество НАТО с Республикой Молдова. «Это также поможет вам на пути к членству в ЕС», - сказал г-н Столтенберг. Он поблагодарил Молдову за вклад в миротворческую миссию СДК в Косово. «Стабильность на Западных Балканах касается всех нас».
