Глибоке занурення повторюється: MENA і гендерна перспектива

Відзначаючи прийдешню 23-тю річницю Резолюції 1325 Ради Безпеки ООН, офіс радника з гендерних питань Міжнародного військового штабу НАТО (IMS GENAD) розпочав нову серію глибоких занурень, зосереджених на гендерній перспективі в різних географічних регіонах. 13 вересня 2023 року відбулась перша зустріч з цієї серії, спрямована на регіон Близького Сходу і Північної Африки (MENA). На ній вивчалось, де і як порядок денний «Жінки, мир і безпека» (WPS) поширений серед збройних сил і миротворців в регіоні, а також перешкоди, які залишаються на його шляху. Під час дискусії також обговорювалось, що робить і що може робити НАТО в цьому регіоні, а також були розглянуті конкретні кращі приклади, взяті з різних національних контекстів.
