Бельгия завершает развертывание НАТО в воздушном пространстве Балтии

Отряд из четырех бельгийских истребителей F-16 должен завершить восьмимесячную деятельность в конце июля, после того как их развертывание в Эстонии для патрулирования воздушного пространства было продлено вслед за вторжением России в Украину.
Когда в апреле французские истребители «Мираж 2000-5» взяли на себя функции усиленного воздушного патрулирования, бельгийский отряд перешел к деятельности по обеспечению повышенной бдительности, осуществляя плановое патрулирование в ключевых районах воздушного пространства Балтии. Они также приобрели опыт действий вместе с другими членами НАТО и партнерами, в том числе в ходе таких учений, как «Рамштайн аллой» и «БАЛТОПС».
