Генерал-майор Джованні Яннуччі з Італії перебрав на себе командування місією НАТО в Іраку 10 травня 2022 року після церемонії зміни командування, яка відбулася в Багдаді. Він замінив генерал-лейтенанта Мікаеля Лоллесгаарда з Данії, який заступив на цю посаду 6 травня 2021 року.
