Сегодня (24 февраля 2022 г.) НАТО провела экстренное заседание Североатлантического совета в целях реагирования на неоправданное и неспровоцированное нападение России на Украину.

«Страны НАТО самым решительным образом осуждают вторжение России в Украину», – заявил Генеральный секретарь Йенс Столтенберг. «Мы призываем Россию немедленно прекратить военные действия, вывести свои войска из Украины и выбрать дипломатию. Мы полностью поддерживаем суверенитет и территориальную целостность Украины, и право Украины на самооборону», – добавил г-н Столтенберг. 

Сегодня Североатлантический совет принял решение ввести в действие наши планы обороны для защиты стран НАТО во время этого кризиса. «Мы будем продолжать делать все необходимое, чтобы защитить Североатлантический союз от агрессии», – заявил г-н Столтенберг.
