Повітряне патрулювання НАТО захищає повітряний простір Північної Македонії

Церемонія з нагоди включення Республіки Північна Македонія до системи повітряного патрулювання НАТО відбулась 9 грудня 2021 року в аеропорту Скоп’є. Два літаки-винищувачі F-16 ВПС Греції змоделювали перехоплення урядового літака «Ліарджет» Республіки Північна Македонія. Міністр оборони Республіки Північна Македонія Радміла Шекерінська-Янковська, представник НАТО генерал-лейтенант Де Ла Круз, командувач Об’єднаного центру повітряних операцій НАТО в Торрехоні, Іспанія, і представник Збройних сил Греції полковник Георгіос Акріотіс спостерігали за тим, як винищувачі супроводжували «Ліарджет» до аеропорту Скоп’є і стежили за його безпечним приземленням.
