Сьогодні, 6 травня 2021 року, генерал-лейтенант Міхаель Лоллесгаард із Збройних сил Данії, на церемонії в Багдаді взяв на себе командування Місією НАТО в Іраку. Він замінив генерал-лейтенанта Збройних сил Данії Пера Ольссена, який командував місією з листопада 2020 року.
