Генеральний секретар НАТО Єнс Столтенберг в середу, 17 березня 2021 року, привітав у штаб-квартирі НАТО Прем’єр-міністра Іраклі Гарібашвілі перед зустріччю Прем’єр-міністра з членами Північноатлантичної ради. Генеральний секретар наголосив на тісному політичному партнерстві і потужній практичній співпраці між НАТО і Грузією, а також подякував Грузії за службу її військових разом з військовими НАТО в Афганістані.
