МОНС, Бельгия – 15 февраля Верховный главнокомандующий объединенными вооруженными силами НАТО в Европе генерал Тод Уолтерс объявил, что дистанционно пилотируемые летательные аппараты Системы наблюдения НАТО за наземной обстановкой RQ-4D достигли начальной готовности для выполнения задач. Это важная веха для программы, которая существенно повысит осведомленность Североатлантического союза о том, что происходит вокруг его границ, а также обеспечит обнаружение и предупреждение.
