В понедельник (12 ноября 2018 г.), выступая с речью в Немецком атлантическом обществе в Берлине, Генеральный секретарь НАТО Йенс Столтенберг подчеркнул важность трансатлантической связи во времена беспрецедентных вызовов безопасности. В частности, г-н Столтенберг предупредил, что развертывание новых российских ракет SSC-8 ставит под угрозу исторический Договор о РСМД, и призвал Россию обеспечить полное соблюдение договора.
