Перший з п’яти безпілотних літальних апаратів (БЛА) НАТО «Глобал Хок» у суботу (19 грудня) успішно здійснив перший політ в Каліфорнії. Злетівши з авіабази Палмдейл, безпілотний літак Системи наземного спостереження Альянсу (AGS) UAV успішно піднявся до 40 тисяч футів перед тим, як приземлитися на базі ВПС Едвардс дві з половиною години по тому.
