Генеральний секретар Єнс Столтенберг високо оцінив важливий внесок США в сили протиракетної оборони НАТО під час свого візиту на корабель ВМС США «Керні», есмінець класу Еджис, на базі ВМС Мейпорт у Флориді у п’ятницю (29 травня 2016 року). Есмінець відправиться до Роти, Іспанія, у вересні і стане елементом системи захисту Альянсу від балістичних ракет разом з трьома іншими подібними кораблями.
