NATO Deputy Secretary General visits the United States
The NATO Deputy Secretary General, Mr. Mircea Geoană, will travel to the United States between 03 and 14 May 2023. He will hold meetings with senior government officials and members of the Senate and the House of Representatives in Washington DC, researchers at Stanford University and Virginia Tech, and tech entrepreneurs in Silicon Valley.
On 03 May, the Deputy Secretary General will attend the Milken Institute Global Conference in Los Angeles, CA, and will speak at the panel ‘From European Dream to Reality’, at 19:00 CEST. The panel will be streamed on the conference’s website, here.
On 09 May, Mr. Geoană will give a speech on Security, Freedom and Prosperity in Eastern Europe at the Atlantic Council’s Freedom and Prosperity Center, at 16:00 CEST. The event will take place in Washington DC and will be streamed here.
On 14 May, the Deputy Secretary General will speak at the Graduate Commencement Ceremony of Virginia Tech, in Washington DC. His remarks will be streamed on the website of the university, at 19:00 CEST.
