У понеділок, 4 травня 2026 року, Генеральний секретар НАТО Марк Рютте приєднався до європейських лідерів і партнерів на саміті Європейської політичної спільноти в Єревані для обговорення спільних проблем безпеки.
Пан Рютте взяв участь в пленарному засіданні, а також в круглому столі з обговорення викликів з боку гібридних загроз. Генеральний секретар також взяв участь у кількох зустрічах на полях, в тому числі з господарем саміту, Прем’єр-міністром Вірменії Ніколом Пашиняном, з яким він обговорив партнерство НАТО з Вірменією. Він зустрівся з Президентом України Володимиром Зеленським, знову підтвердивши непохитну підтримку України з боку НАТО, а також зустрівся з кількома іншими лідерами, зокрема з Прем’єр-міністром Сполученого Королівства Кіром Стармером і Президентом Франції Еммануелєм Макроном.
