Генеральный секретарь НАТО: нет более близкого партнера, чем Япония

В среду (12 июля 2023 г.) Генеральный секретарь Йенс Столтенберг приветствовал премьер-министра Японии Фумио Кисиду на встрече НАТО в верхах, заявив, что нет более близкого партнера, чем Япония. Подчеркнув, что «безопасность носит не региональной, а глобальной характер», г-н Столтенберг поблагодарил премьер-министра за решительную поддержку, которую Япония оказывает Украине. Генеральный секретарь также выразил обеспокоенность в связи с наращиванием Китаем военной мощи, включая модернизацию и расширение его ядерных сил. Он также осудил последнее ракетное испытание, проведенное Северной Кореей в нарушение международных норм и многочисленных резолюций Совета Безопасности ООН.
