Генеральный секретарь НАТО подписывает план партнерства и приветствует углубление сотрудничества с Австралией

В ходе визита в Сидней в среду (7 августа 2019 г.) Генеральный секретарь Йенс Столтенберг высоко оценил вклад Австралии в международную безопасность и ее углубляющееся партнерство с НАТО. Г-н Столтенберг встретился с премьер-министром Скоттом Моррисоном, министром иностранных дел Марис Пейн и министром обороны Линдой Рейнольдс и подписал обновленное соглашение о партнерстве между НАТО и Австралией с министром Рейнольдс на борту корабля ВМС Австралии «Хобарт». «Австралия является очень ценным партнером для Североатлантического союза», – сказал Генеральный секретарь, отметив развертывания, которые эта страна осуществляет в рамках миссий по учебной подготовке в Афганистане и Ираке.
