НАТО перехопила сотні російських військових літаків у 2020 році

ВПС НАТО в усій Європі у 2020 році піднімались у повітря по тривозі понад 400 разів для перехоплення невідомих літаків, які наближались до повітряного простору Альянсу. Більше 90 відсотків цих місій – майже 350 – здійснювались у відповідь на польоти російських військових літаків. Це порівняльно невелике зростання порівняно із 2019 роком. Російські військові літаки часто не включають передачу коду автовідповідача, яка вказує їхнє місцезнаходження і висоту, не подають план польоту і не спілкуються з диспетчерами повітряного руху, що створює потенційну загрозу цивільним авіалайнерам.
