В Брюсселе проходит заседание Совета Россия–НАТО

Совет Россия–НАТО, в котором участвуют все 30 союзников по НАТО и Россия, собрался в Брюсселе в среду (12 января 2022 г.), чтобы обсудить ситуацию в Украине и вокруг нее, а также последствия для европейской безопасности.
Генеральный секретарь НАТО Йенс Столтенберг, председательствовавший на встрече, сказал: «Это была непростая дискуссия, но именно поэтому она была такой важной». Он отметил, что союзники по НАТО готовы снова провести встречу с Россией, чтобы более подробно обсудить ряд тем и представить конкретные предложения. «Существуют возможности для конструктивного взаимодействия, которые не следует упускать, в интересах безопасности в Европе», – сказал он.
