Министры обороны 11 стран НАТО положили начало трем имеющим особое значение многонациональным проектам по предоставлению оборудования для РХБЯ защиты, разработке и закупке систем обнаружения и идентификации РХБЯ веществ, а также потенциальному созданию сети объектов РХБЯ защиты. Протоколы о намерениях, дающие начало этим инициативам, были подписаны в кулуарах встречи министров обороны стран НАТО 21 октября 2021 года.
