У середу, 14 лютого 2018 року, Бельгія приєдналась до багатонаціональної програми із закупівлі європейського багатонаціонального флоту багатоцільових транспортних літаків-заправників Аеробус (MRTT). Під час церемонії підписання у штаб-квартирі НАТО в Брюсселі міністри оборони Бельгії, Німеччини, Люксембургу, Нідерландів і Норвегії відсвяткували офіційне приєднання Бельгії до цієї програми.
