В среду (9 марта 2016 г.) Генеральный секретарь НАТО Йенс Столтенберг встретился с министром иностранных дел Армении Эдвардом Налбандяном и министром обороны Армении Сейраном Оганяном, чтобы провести переговоры о партнерстве между Североатлантическим союзом и Ереваном. Генеральный секретарь поблагодарил Армению за ее вклад в миссии НАТО в Афганистане и Косово.
