Policy makers and practitioners in the field of crisis management attended the third informal “Community of Interest” workshop at NATO Headquarters on 11 and 12 December.
The workshop provided a forum for participants to exchange ideas and examine ways to support conflict prevention or transition, taking into account different organisations’ comparative advantages and strengths in capacity building.
NATO has long been a supporter of a comprehensive approach to crisis management. The Wales Summit reaffirmed that this is an essential element for the Alliance to meet its goals.
