90-денні авіатранспортні операції НАТО на підтримку жертв повені в Пакистані завершились 22 листопада за узгодження з пакистанською владою і згідно з планом. За цей час Альянс перевіз 1020 тонн гуманітарної допомоги, здійснивши 24 польоти до аеропортів Ісламабада, Лахора і Карачі. Євроатлантичний центр НАТО з координації реагування на катастрофи (EADRCC) координував допомогу, яка надавалась країнами-членами і партнерами НАТО, установами ООН і неурядовими організаціями.
Внаслідок повеней, Північноатлантична рада у серпні, у відповідь на прохання уряду Пакистану, вирішила забезпечити повітряні і морські перевезення для доставки допомоги, наданої країнами і гуманітарними організаціями.
Підтримка з боку НАТО жертв повені в Пакистані продовжуватиметься за допомогою морських перевезень доки не буде доставлено мостове обладнання, надане НАТО, до кінця цього року.
