28 – 29 квітня 2021 року голова Військового комітету НАТО, головний маршал авіації сер Стюарт Піч, перебував у Грузії, де зустрівся з Президентом Саломе Зурабішвілі, прем’єр-міністром Іраклієм Гарібашвілі, міністром оборони Джуаншером Бурчуладзе і начальником Генштабу генерал-майором Георгієм Матіашвілі. Він також відвідав спеціальну церемонію з відзначення 30-ї річниці створення Грузинських сил оборони.
