На полях зустрічі міністрів оборони країн – членів НАТО у четвер, 7 червня 2018 року, міністри оборони Бельгії, Данії і Нідерландів підписали Меморандум про розуміння щодо створення Об’єднаного командування компоненту спеціальних операцій (C-SOCC). Після введення в дію це Командування сил спеціальних операцій трьох країн братиме участь в діяльності Сил швидкого реагування НАТО і зможе надавати підтримку операціям НАТО та іншим багатонаціональним місіям.
