Сотрудник НАТО по связи и взаимодействию Розария Пульизи встретилась с министром иностранных дел Узбекистана Абдулазизом Камиловым и министром обороны Кабулом Бердиевым 10 и 12 февраля. Они обсудили текущее сотрудничество между Североатлантическим союзом и Узбекистаном, а также изучили пути расширения отношений в 2016 году.

Министры выразили неизменную поддержку своей страной сотрудничества с НАТО в рамках программы «Партнерство ради мира» (ПРМ) и в рамках других мероприятий, представляющих национальный интерес.

Узбекистан присоединился к программе ПРМ в 1994 году.
