Генеральний секретар Єнс Столтенберг разом з іншими високопоставленими офіційними представниками Альянсу і військовим командуванням у четвер (5 листопада 2015 року) були присутні на тренуваннях в рамках навчань «Трайдент джанкче – 2015» в Португалії, які демонстрували навички і рівень боєготовності військово-морських сил Альянсу. «Протягом останніх тижнів війська наших членів піддаються випробуванням на землі, в морі і у повітрі. Сили Альянсу удосконалюють свою боєготовність, свої уміння і свою здатність спільно виконувати роботу в кризових ситуаціях», – сказав Генеральний секретар.
