Рада НАТО-Росія зібралась на засідання в Брюсселі

Рада НАТО-Росія, в якій зібрались усі 30 членів Альянсу і Росія, провела засідання у Брюсселі в середу, 12 січня 2022 року, для обговорення ситуації в Україні і навколо неї, і її наслідки для європейської безпеки.
Генеральний секретар НАТО Єнс Столтенберг, який головував на засіданні, сказав: «Це була не проста дискусія, але саме тому вона була такою важливою». Він відзначив, що союзники по НАТО готові знову зустрітись з Росією для детального обговорення ряду питань і вироблення конкретних пропозицій. «Це можливості для конструктивної взаємодії, які в інтересах безпеки в Європі не можна втратити», – зазначив він.
