Foreign Ministers to take decisions on NATO modernization
NATO Foreign Ministers are meeting today (20 November 2019) to prepare for the meeting of NATO leaders in London. Ministers will discuss NATO’s progress in achieving fairer burden-sharing among Allies, and strategic issues, including NATO’s relations with Russia, arms control and the implications of the rise of China. “We will also make decisions demonstrating that we continue to adapt and modernize the Alliance,” said NATO Secretary General Jens Stoltenberg. Ministers are expected to recognize space as a new operational domain, alongside air, land, sea and cyber.
