Я принял к сведению решение Независимой избирательной комиссии Афганистана объявить г-на Хамида Карзая победителем на президентских выборах.
Я поздравляю президента Карзая с таким результатом. НАТО будет продолжать работать в поддержку правительства Афганистана и афганского народа, чтобы помочь им построить более безопасное будущее, в том числе способствуя большему прогрессу в совершенствовании управления и борьбе с коррупцией.
