NATO launches the Resilience Reference Curriculum

At a meeting of its Resilience Committee on 14 February 2025, NATO introduced its first Resilience Reference Curriculum (RRC) to support efforts by NATO Allies and partners to strengthen their resilience against military and non-military threats and challenges to the Alliance’s security and to their own national security. These can include natural disasters, disruption of critical infrastructure, or hybrid or armed attacks.

NATO Secretary General visits Slovakia

NATO Secretary General, Mark Rutte travelled to Slovakia on Thursday (20 February 2025) for meetings with President Peter Pellegrini, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Defence, Mr Robert Kaliňák, Minister of Foreign and European Affairs Mr Juraj Blanár and Minister of Finance Mr Ladislav Kamenický. While in Slovakia Mr Rutte also visited troops from NATO’s multinational Forward Land Forces stationed in Lešť and gave a speech to students at the Comenius University, in Bratislava.

Deputy Secretary General Radmila Shekerinska travelled to Bydgoszcz, Poland on Monday (17 February 2025) to participate in the opening ceremony of the NATO-Ukraine Joint Analysis, Training and Education Centre (JATEC). Speaking at the ceremony, the Deputy Secretary General said that the Centre’s work “will help the Alliance and Ukraine become stronger.”
