New Zealand Foreign Minister visits NATO
New Zealand Minister of Foreign Affairs, Murray McCully, paid a visit to NATO’s Headquarters in Brussels on 18 May and met with the Secretary General of the Alliance, Jaap de Hoop Scheffer.
They discussed the situation in Afghanistan and focused on preparations for the upcoming Meeting of Ministers of Defence in Brussels on 11-12 June.
Mr. de Hoop Scheffer said he was looking forward to paying a farewell visit to New Zealand shortly.
