Earthquake in Tajikistan

12 Jan. 2010 - On 12 January 2010, the EADRCC received a request for assistance from the Republic of Tajikistan after an earthquake in Gorno Badakhshan Autonomous Oblast (GBAO), on 2 January, which caused severe damage to five villages of the Vanj sub-district.

Floods in Albania

7 Jan. 2010 - On 7 January 2010, the EADRCC received a request for assistance from Albania. Due to continuous rainfall during November and December 2009, water levels in the lakes and on the Drini River have risen. As a result, the Shkodra and Lezha regions have been flooded continuously from 27 December, 2009.
