Polish paratroopers' helicopter jump
Paratroopers from various NATO nations recently gathered in Poland to jump together for the Polish ‘Jump Week’. The exercise saw paratroopers from Belgium, Czechia, Germany, Italy, the Netherlands, Poland and the United Kingdom meet near Krakow to learn about each other’s airborne techniques and equipment. Over 400 parachute jumps were performed from the deck of a C-295M aircraft and a W-3 Sokół helicopter, landing in the Błędowska Desert and Żywieckie Lake in southern Poland.
