NATO-Russia Council will meet in Russia
At the invitation of the Russian authorities, the ambassadors of the NATO-Russia Council (NRC), headed by the NATO Secretary General, Mr. Anders Fogh Rasmussen, as the Chairman of the NRC, will travel to Sochi in the Russian Federation on Sunday 3rd July 2011.
On 4 July 2011, the Secretary General will chair a meeting of the NATO-Russia Council, , with participation of Russian Minister of Foreign Affairs H.E. Mr. Sergei Lavrov and other Russian high-ranking officials.
The Secretary General will also have bilateral meetings with the Russian President H.E. Mr. Dmitry Medvedev and with the Russian Foreign Minister H.E. Mr. Sergei Lavrov.
On the same day, all NRC ambassadors and the Secretary General will have a meeting with the President of the Russian Federation, H.E. Mr. Dmitry Medvedev.
On 5th July, the Secretary General will travel to St. Petersburg. He will deliver a lecture at the Naval Academy and meet representatives of local authorities.
