NATO Foreign Ministers are meeting today (5 December 2017) to begin two days of talks on NATO’s adaptation ahead of the Brussels Summit next July. “I expect we will agree to take NATO-EU cooperation to a new level,” said Secretary General Jens Stoltenberg. Ministers will also discuss global security challenges, including North Korea, and NATO’s role in projecting stability beyond its borders. Allies will also hold a meeting of the NATO-Georgia Commission, to review the security situation, Georgia’s reform progress and areas for further cooperation.
