UPDATED - Minute of silence at NATO Headquarters and statement by the North Atlantic Council

Today 16 November, 12.00, there will be a minute of silence at NATO Headquarters in memory of the victims of the terrorist attacks in Paris and in solidarity with France.

NEW: Following the minute of silence, the NATO Secretary General will read a statement by the North Atlantic Council.

The event is open for media coverage and it will be available live via satellite and on the NATO website.

The event will take place at the main entrance (Cour d'Honneur). Media will have access starting from 11.30.
