NATO supplies Ukraine with medical ventilators
29 Nov. 2023NATO and Allies are helping to bring much-needed medical ventilators to Ukraine, to support emergency and intensive care units in hospitals around the country. Overall, 15 ventilators will be made available with support from NATO’s Disaster Response Coordination Centre. Spain is donating three ventilators to the Ukraine National Guard, while NATO is giving 12 ventilators, purchased with funds donated by Italy, to the Ministry of Defence of Ukraine.

On 15 December 2022, the Minister of Civil Affairs of Bosnia and Herzegovina Ankica Gudeljevic and NATO Commander in Sarajevo, Brigadier General Pamela McGaha, presided over a ceremony for the delivery of personal protective equipment to the authorities of Bosnia and Herzegovina, through NATO’s Pandemic Response Trust Fund.

Tunisia has received 4880 kilograms of personal protective equipment from the NATO Pandemic Response Stockpile. This includes surgical masks, face shields, and hooded coveralls, and follows Tunisia’s request for international assistance to tackle the COVID-19 pandemic.
