(As delivered)
Good morning to all of you.
It's good to see you all here this morning and welcome to this first meeting of the NATO-Ukraine Council at the level of Foreign Ministers.
We remain unwavering in our commitment to Ukraine. We are determined that Ukraine will one day sit at this table as a full member of our Alliance.
We are joined by Foreign Minister Kuleba, who will brief us on the current situation on the ground. And on Ukraine’s specific needs.
Allies are providing unprecedented military, financial and humanitarian support to Ukraine. And supporting the necessary reforms on Ukraine’s path to NATO membership.
Russia’s war of aggression continues to cause untold suffering. It threatens the security of Europe. And the stability of the entire international rules-based system.
Allies continue to stand with Ukraine for your security and for our security.
So with this, the public part of this meeting is over. I thank the media for joining us at the top of the meeting.
And we will continue in a moment. Thank you.
