Press briefing with General Jean-Paul Paloméros, Supreme Allied Commander Transformation (SACT)
On Monday 14 January 2013 at 11 a.m. the NATO spokesperson will give a press briefing at the Résidence Palace (Rue de la Loi, 155) in the salle Passage.
She will be accompanied by General Jean-Paul Paloméros, NATO Supreme Allied Commander Transformation (SACT), who will present his priorities. Note that General Jean-Paul Paloméros took up the position of SACT on 28 September 2012.
Interpretation will be provided in English and French.
An audio and video recording of the briefing will be available on NATO's website, in English and French, after the event.
Accreditation and access
Journalists holding a NATO media pass for 2012 or 2013 will have access to the press conference on presentation of this pass.
Media representatives who do not have such a pass and would like to attend the press briefing are invited to request accreditation directly at the main entrance of the Residence Palace on 14 January from 10:30 a.m.
They must present their identity card and a valid press card (issued by a recognized national professional body of a NATO country – e.g. government, professional association or union).
Media representatives not holding a valid press card (as indicated above) are invited to send a letter signed by their editorial authority to the NATO Press and Media Section by 5 p.m. on Friday 11 January at the latest, by fax (+32 2 707 13 99) or by e-mail (press@hq.nato.int).
