NATO Delivers: Yesterday, Today and Tomorrow
Photo Exhibition - Chicago
NATO is cooperating with the Pritzker Military Library in Chicago to hold a photo exhibition on NATO efforts to support peace and security. The exhibition will run from 18 May - 7 July 2012 at the Pritzker Military Library and then will tour around the United States and Canada. The exhibition features over 90 images divided into the following six categories: Working Together; Providing Peace and Security; Countering and Preventing Terrorism; Safeguarding the Seas; Meeting Humanitarian Needs; and Tackling New Threats with New Capabilities. It is NATO’s responsibility to help protect international commerce and its member countries’ maritime resources from potential threats, as well as from possible attacks upon their territory that may come from the sea.

Meeting Humanitarian Needs - NATO Delivers: Yesterday, Today and Tomorrow
18 May. 2012One of NATO’s strengths is to have the experience, facilities, capabilities and processes in place to be able to deal with different sorts of crises. Within the framework of the Alliance, members work together on a daily basis and have everything ready – planning, policies, processes, working practices and tools - to be able to launch a multinational crisis-management operation at short notice or to coordinate the provision of relief support.

Tackling New Threats with New Capabilities - NATO Delivers: Yesterday, Today and Tomorrow
18 May. 2012The security environment continues to change at a rapid rate and NATO is working to ensure that the Alliance is capable of meeting these emerging security challenges. Cyber attacks, the proliferation of weapons of mass destruction, terrorism and other emerging threats such as energy vulnerabilities are all matters of concerns to the security of NATO's almost 900 million citizens.
