The Hague, 20 March 2012 – Today the NATO Military Committee led by its Chairman, General Knud Bartels, was hosted by the NATO Consultation, Command and Control Agency (NC3A) at their Headquarters in the Hague, where they were welcomed by Mr. Georges D’hollander, General Manager of NC3A.

Staff at NC3A updated the Military Committee on a series of projects they are undertaking in support of the Alliance’s operations, and on the merger of NC3A into the new structure of the NATO Communication and Information Agency (NCIA). Following the briefings, the Military Representatives were given an opportunity to speak with subject matter experts from the various multinational projects.

Through the development of these projects, NC3A provides concrete support for two of the Alliance's top priorities - Smart Defence objectives and the concept of Connected Forces. The Agency has been working extensively towards achieving the critical capabilities highlighted at the NATO Lisbon Summit.  Its contribution to the development of the Alliance's Missile Defence System is also recognised as vital.

Thanking the Military Representatives for their visit, NC3A's General Manager, Mr. Georges D’hollander underlined the Agency’s total commitment to "deliver what NATO needs, when NATO needs it, building on turning Lessons Learned into future solutions".
