NATO Secretary General to visit Poland
The Secretary General of NATO, Mr. Anders Fogh Rasmussen, will visit Warsaw on Thursday 17th March 2011.
During his visit, the Secretary General will have bilateral meetings with President Bronislaw Komorowski and Prime Minister Donald Tusk. In the context of the 12th anniversary since the Czech Republic, Hungary and Poland joined NATO, the Secretary General will give a keynote address together with President Bronislaw Komorowski at the International Conference “The 4th Forum on Euro-Atlantic Security: NATO after the implementation of the Strategic Concept. An international think-tank debate on NATO’s Future”.
The Secretary General will also attend a working lunch hosted by the Minister of Defence Bogdan Klich. Minister of Foreign Affairs Radek Sikorski will also attend this lunch, as well as the Ministers of the Defence of the NATO countries having joined the Alliance since 1999.
