NATO Secretary General visits Qatar with the North Atlantic Council

The Secretary General is travelling to Doha, Qatar, on 14-16 February 2011 for a bilateral visit. He has met with the Crown Prince H.E. Sheikh Tamim Bin-Hamad Bin-Khalifah Al-Thani, the Prime Minister and Foreign Minister, H.E. Sheikh Hamad Bin Jassim bin Jabr Al-Thani and the Chief of Staff of the Qatar Armed Forces, H.E. Hamad Bin Ali Al-Attiyah.
He will also attend a conference on ''Deepening the NATO – Istanbul Cooperation Initiative'' together with Permanent Representatives of the North Atlantic Council and senior government officials from the Partner countries in the Istanbul Cooperation Initiative, Oman and Saudi Arabia. This conference is co-organised by the State of Qatar and NATO.
