North Atlantic Council (NAC) to visit Bosnia and Herzegovina on Tuesday, 23 March 2010

The North Atlantic Council (NAC) will visit Bosnia and Herzegovina on 23 March 2010. The NAC is the senior decision-making body of NATO, comprising the 28 NATO permanent representatives and the Secretary General, Mr. Anders Fogh Rasmussen.

During the visit, the NAC will meet with with the members of the Bosnian Tri-Presidency, with the Chairman of the Council of Ministers, Nikola Spiric, with the Deputy Chairman of the Council of Ministers and Minister of Finance and Treasury, Mr Dragan Vrankic, with the Deputy Chairman of the Council of Ministers and Minister of Security, Mr Sadik Ahmetovic, with Minister of Foreign Affairs Sven Alkalaj, with Minister of Defence Selmo Cikotic, with Minister of Justice Barisa Colak and with leaders of the political parties of the governing coalition.  The North Atlantic Council will also meet with the High Representative and EU Special Representative Valentin Inzko, with the Commander of the NATO Headquarters Sarajevo and Senior Military Representative of NATO, General John W. Bullard, with COM EUFOR, General Bernhard Bair, and with NATO Contact Point Ambassador Jan Braathu of Norway.
