NATO Secretary General to visit Pakistan

The Secretary General of NATO, Mr. Jaap de Hoop Scheffer, will travel to Islamabad from 22 – 23 January 2009.
During his visit, the Secretary General will meet with President Asif Ali Zardari, with Prime Minister Yousuf Raza Gilani, with Minister of Foreign Affairs Shah Mahmood Qureshi, with Minister of Defence Chaudry Ahmad Mukhtar, with Minister of Interior Rehman Malik, with Chief of Army Staff General Ashfaq Kayani and with other senior government officials.
The programme of the visit is subject to change.
