US Deputy Secretary of State visits NATO
The United States Deputy Secretary of State, Robert Zoellick, visited NATO Headquarters on 4 April for discussions with the North Atlantic Council, the Alliance’s principal decision-making body.

This was Mr. Zoellick’s first visit to NATO following his appointment as the US Deputy Secretary of State.
He discussed and exchanged views with the Council on a broad range ofissues, including on recent developments in the Balkans, Afghanistanand Iraq as well as the Middle East peace process and the situation inthe Darfur region of Sudan.
