On15-16 June NATO's Public Diplomacy Division organised a high-levelvisit to NATO of members of the Knesset's Foreign Affairs and DefenceCommittee headed by its Chairman, Dr. Yuval Steinitz, and of members ofthe Atlantic Forum of Israel, headed by its Chairman, Dr. Uzi Arad.
During the two day visit, the members of the Foreign Affairs andDefence Committee met with NATO Secretary General Jaap de Hoop Schefferand other high-level NATO officials to discuss current developments inthe enhanced Mediterranean Dialogue and the Istanbul CooperationInitiative, launched at the 2004 Istanbul Summit.
